Turning Insight Into Advantage

We're building the infrastructure for the next generation of sports data innovation—one builder, one developer, one idea at a time.

Why We Exist

Sports data shouldn't be locked behind enterprise paywalls or buried in complex APIs that only Fortune 500 companies can afford to navigate. Every developer building their first app, every fantasy player looking for an edge, every startup with a game-changing idea deserves access to the same quality data and tools.

We exist because the sports tech ecosystem has been built for the few, not the many. While major platforms focus on enterprise deals and exclusive partnerships, millions of builders, creators, and innovators are left scrambling for reliable data sources or settling for outdated, incomplete datasets.

Rolling Insights changes that equation. We believe the future of sports technology will be written by independent developers, driven by community insights, and powered by accessible, developer-friendly infrastructure.

Our Evolution

Rolling Insights started as a solution to our own frustration. As developers and sports fans, we spent countless hours trying to piece together reliable data sources for fantasy sports projects. Every API seemed designed for enterprise use cases, with pricing models that made experimentation impossible and documentation that assumed you had a team of engineers.

What began as SportWise—a tool to help fantasy players gain insights from their own league data—evolved into something bigger when we realized how many others shared our struggles. Developers reached out asking for API access. Startups wanted to build on our infrastructure. A community formed around the simple idea that sports data should be accessible.

Today, Rolling Insights operates three complementary platforms that serve different stages of the sports tech journey: SportWise for end users seeking insights, DataFeeds for developers building applications, and Breakaway for startups scaling their businesses. Each emerged from real community needs, not boardroom strategies.

How We Work

We build in public, iterate based on real feedback, and prioritize community needs over profit maximization. Our development cycle is driven by the builders using our tools, not by quarterly revenue targets.

Community-First Development

Every feature, every API endpoint, every pricing decision starts with a conversation in our community. We build what builders actually need, not what we think they should want.

Transparent Infrastructure

No black box algorithms, no hidden rate limits, no surprise billing. Our systems are designed to be predictable, scalable, and understandable by the developers who depend on them.

Founder-to-Founder Support

We've been in the trenches of building sports tech products. Our support isn't just technical—it's strategic, offering insights from founders who understand the unique challenges of this space.

Built for Experimentation

Innovation starts with play. We've designed our tools to be lightweight, forgiving, and fast—so builders can test ideas, ship quickly, and learn without hitting paywalls or waiting on support tickets. Whether you're building for fun or scaling to production, we make it safe to explore.

What Comes Next

The sports data landscape is changing rapidly. Machine learning models need massive datasets for training. Real-time applications demand sub-second latency. New sports and leagues are emerging globally. Fantasy sports is evolving beyond traditional season-long formats.

We're not just keeping pace with these changes—we're anticipating them. Our roadmap is built around the next generation of sports applications: AI-powered analysis tools, real-time betting infrastructure, immersive fan experiences, and data products we haven't even imagined yet.

But more importantly, we're building the platform that will enable thousands of others to create those innovations. The next breakthrough in sports technology won't come from our team—it will come from a developer in their garage, a startup in a co-working space, or a creator with an idea that nobody else believes in yet.

Our job is to give them the tools, data, and support they need to turn that idea into reality.
