Daily Newsletter: NFL Week 14 Waiver Wire Targets (Dec. 3rd)
Welcome to our daily newsletter! As we head into Week 14 of the NFL season, injuries and player movements are shaking up the fantasy football landscape. In today’s edition, we’ll break down the key injuries from Week 13. Plus, we’ll highlight the top waiver wire targets you need to add this week to give your fantasy team the boost it needs for the playoff push. Let’s dive in!
Week 13 Injury Fallout
Christian McCaffrey/Jordan Mason- Both of the SF RBs were placed on injured reserve after the loss to the Bills and that clears the path for Isaac Guerendo to see an increased role. SF also claimed Izzy Ibanikanda off waivers today from the Jets.
Trevor Lawrence- Lawrence was knocked out of the game by a blow to the head resulting in an ejection for Aziz Al-Shaair. He will likely miss at least one game resulting in Mac Jones starting in his place.
Ladd McConkey- McConkey seems like the least severe of any fantasy impactful injuries this past week, despite him exiting the game late against the Falcons. It appears it was a knee injury and after the game HC Jim Harbaugh noted that McConkey was “working through a few things”. If he misses any time, it would be a boost for Josh Palmer and Quentin Johnston.
Dallas Goedert- Goedert left the Eagles win over the Ravens on Sunday and will likely miss multiple weeks due to a knee sprain. Philly is one of the few teams seemingly locked in for the post-season so it wouldn’t make any sense to rush him back. This is a boost for both AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith while Grant Calcaterra will start in his place.

Week 14 Waiver Wire Targets
Isaac Guerendo
Guerendo is the priority add of the week and if your league uses FAAB I would be spending 100% of my remaining balance on him. Yes, they brought in Ibanikanda, but I still expect Guerendo to be the lead back down the stretch of the season in a good offensive scheme. He had over 20 fantasy points in a game once this season already, and has great size and speed.
Braelon Allen
Breece Hall was highly questionable heading into the Jets Week 13 game against the Seahawks and that resulted in him seeing essentially season-low usage. New York elected to have four RBs active for that game, and I think that’s telling enough that Hall is legitimately hurt. New York has nothing to play for, and the likelihood that Hall is shut down during the fantasy play-offs increases daily.
Elijah Moore
Moore is somehow only rostered on around 12% of public leagues on Yahoo – making him one of my favorite targets heading into Week 14. Jameis Winston has fully unlocked this offense and that’s resulted in a fantasy renaissance for Moore, Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman when healthy. Since Winston took over, Moore has been targeted on over 25% of Cleveland’s drop-backs.
