Daily Newsletter: NFL Week 15 Waiver Wire Targets (Dec. 10th)

Welcome to our daily newsletter! As we head into Week 15 of the fantasy football season, injuries from Week 14 have left many rosters in flux, especially as the playoffs approach. With key players potentially missing time, it's crucial to stay on top of the latest updates and make savvy waiver wire moves. In today's edition, we’ll highlight some key injury fallout and offer some valuable waiver wire targets to help boost your team for the final stretch of the season.

Week 14 Injury Fallout

Isaac Guerendo- Guerendo was absolutely smashing on Sunday when he suffered a foot sprain and it remains to be seen if he will miss any time. He was a massive waiver pick-up last week and if he does miss time, whoever starts in his place will be a great fantasy asset just in time for the play-offs

Bucky Irving- Irving played around one series on Sunday before exiting and never returning to the game. He was questionable to play, and it seems like having him inactive would have been the better move for the Bucs. His status will be huge for those in the fantasy play-offs and if he does miss a game both Rachaad White and Sean Tucker get huge boosts.

Aidan O’Connell- O'Connell left Sunday's game in an air cast, lining up Desmond Ridder to start vs his former team this weekend. This is a huge negative for both Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers, who have been huge for fantasy teams this season.

Kenneth Walker- Walker is getting further testing done on his calf early this week, and could be in danger of missing another game. Zach Charbonnet turned in a monster 30+ point fantasy performance in his absence last weekend and could be a league-winning player if Walker misses extended time.

Week 15 Waiver Wire Targets

Patrick Taylor

Taylor’s teammate, Isaac Guerendo, was featured as my top waiver add last week. He was absolutely crushing in their game vs the Chicago Bears this past Sunday before suffering an unfortunate foot sprain. It remains to be seen if Guerendo will be able to suit up in Week 15, but we know that he wasn’t able to practice on Monday or Tuesday. With San Francisco playing on Thursday night, I think it’s a 50% or better chance he misses the game which would thrust Taylor into a starting role in the first week of the fantasy playoffs.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

Westbrook-Ikhine is no secret having scored 8 touchdowns this season, but he remains owned in just 40% of Yahoo leagues coming into the week. He disappointed in Week 14 turning in a 1-19 receiving line though he did see another end zone target. More importantly, I’m buying back into him this week against the Cincinnati Bengals. Cincy’s defense has been atrocious down the stretch of the season especially against the pass. This game features the highest total on Sunday’s main slate at 47.5 and it’s a good spot for the Titans passing attack. Westbrook-Ikhine will be start-able in most 10-12 team leagues.

Sincere McCormick

I was going to include Sean Tucker here, but I have optimism that the Buccaneers were just being overly cautious with Bucky Irving against the Raiders. As for McCormick, he once again led the back-field in the Raiders Week 14 game and should be in line for an expanded role again with Zamir White now on IR. He’s touched the ball 36 times over the last three games and has gotten a lot of positive coach speak from HC Antonio Pierce. This offense will likely be a disaster with Desmond Ridder at the helm, but if anything that could lead them to be even more run-heavy in a home game against the Falcons.
