2025 NFL Draft: Ben's Final Pre-Draft WR Rankings

Welcome to Ben's final pre-draft WR rankings! The draft is almost here, and it's time to break down the wide receiver class one last time.

1. Travis Hunter

Travis is the EASY WR1 in this class in my opinion and I can't believe there was a time that people thought he was mainly going to only play CB in the NFL. He's not only a freak athlete, but has the stats to back it up as someone that's never focused fully on the WR position. His release is great, elite body control and is going to be a better route runner than people give him credit for. Plus, we know he is insane with the ball in his hands.

2. Tet McMillan

I've gone back and forth on him, because he doesn't have the elite top end speed at his size and this isn't the type of WR I have been targeting in recent years. That being said, I can't argue what he did at Arizona and I was a big fan of his while he was in college. He's very intriguing to me because the upside is evident, but he has a lower floor than what you typically see from a top-15 WR pick I think.

3. Emeka Egbuka

Egbuka is as close to a can't miss WR prospect as you'll find in my opinion. Elite separation, route-running and pedigree with these other Ohio State WR's where he was the best of them at times. An underrated part of his game is his ability to shed tackles, and I think he is very likely to make an immediate impact on offense for whatever team it is that takes him. I'm a huge fan.

4. Luther Burden

Seems like Burden is going to slip and be a second round pick, but I still think there is upside here depending on where he lands. He probably fits better as an explosive slot option that can rack up YAC in a hurry -- he isn't typically the type of receiver I like to target these days given his lackluster route running at times but the ceiling is still locked away in there somewhere. Buffalo would be my preferred landing spot outside of the first round.

5. Matthew Golden

I'm a bit lower than consensus on Golden, but that doesn't mean I'm not a realist -- he's going to get picked in the first round on Thursday night. His speed alone will get him drafted that high, though I think he will be impacted by landing spot whether good or bad.

6. Jayden Higgins

The more I watch Jayden Higgins, the bigger fan I become. I feel like this has been labeled as a lackluster WR draft at times but I think there are some serious impact players at this position that will get drafted outside of round one. He has great speed and lit the combine up, I will be vert interested in him for fantasy purposes.

7. Jack Bech

Bech has risen up a ton throughout the draft process, and I think he has a great chance to impact NFL games much quicker in his career than some of the guys that will get drafted ahead of him. He won MVP at the Senior Bowl and is just the 5th TCU WR ever to post a 1,000 yard season at WR. He's an elite route runner with more speed than you'd anticipate and profiles as an immediate zone beater at the NFL level. There are certain offenses he could absolutely thrive in.
