New York Giants @ New England Patriots

Line: Patriots -7.5

Total: 46.5

We wrap up the Week 13 slate with the Giants traveling to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots. The home team is listed as touchdown favorites in this one, while kick-off is set for 8:15 ET.

I don’t ever feel great about backing a public underdog, especially one that’s a touchdown underdog, but every way I look at this game I come away thinking the Giants keep it close.

The biggest edge for me has to be in the trenches. New York has a very strong pass rush unit, while the Patriots will be missing multiple starters on their offensive line tonight including 2025 First Round Pick LT Will Campbell. We have seen the Giants defense take over some of these close games they’ve played this season and that could once again be on the horizon tonight.

On top of them dealing with severe OL injuries, I don’t think this Patriots team is as good as their record indicates. That’s not a reflection on Drake Maye at all, who’s awesome, but the team itself having overperformed this season. For reference, the Patriots rank 17th in DVOA despite having 10 wins and competing for the number one seed in the AFC. Overall, we have one team that has overperformed and one that has vastly underperformed and that’s something we can take advantage of late in the season.

Jaxson Dart is back at QB tonight for the Giants, and I’m expecting a big effort from them in this one. I believe this will be a one score game late in the fourth quarter.

Touchdown Prediction: Isaiah Hodgins

Score Prediction: Giants 27, Patriots 24
