2025 NFL Divisional Round Predictions: Ravens vs Bills
The divisional round is here and so are our 2025 NFL Divisional Round Predictions. We will be predicting the outcome of every NFL play-off game and in today's edition we will break down the Ravens vs Bills. Let's dive in....
Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills
The Divisional Round wraps up with what is a game fit for the Super Bowl between the visiting Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills. This is the first time since the league merger in 1970 that the Bills are underdogs in a home playoff game with the line posted at Ravens -1.5. The total sits at 51.5 and we should expect some offense between two good teams even in the freezing Buffalo temperatures.
These are the two best teams defensively according to EPA/per play and this has the makings of an all-time classic. These teams faced off earlier this season with the Ravens winning handily 35-10. If anything, these teams have trended in different directions since that game with the Bills defense getting slightly worse while the Ravens have made a massive leap to one of the best defenses in football.
Josh Allen is going to generate points on offense, but this game for me comes down to the backfield for Baltimore. Zay Flowers is once again out for this game, so they’re going to need big games from the skill position players they do have active. After last season’s disaster against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship, Baltimore went and got Derrick Henry for this exact moment. I also could see Justice Hill stepping up, with how Buffalo has struggled to defend pass catching running backs this season.
Overall, I hate that one of these teams has to lose but I think Baltimore is the most complete team top to bottom in the NFL and I’m going to side with them here.
Score Prediction: Ravens 27, Bills 23
Touchdown Prediction: Justice Hill
I’m going with a longshot pick again this Sunday, this time with Justice Hill. Everyone knows about Derrick Henry and what he can do, but as I noted above I don’t think we should overlook Hill in this match-up. Buffalo ranks bottom-three in RB targets faced, catches allowed and have given up the most receiving yards to running backs this season. Hill can be a big part of the game plan with Zay Flowers out and he was able to find the end zone against the Steelers last weekend.
