World Cup Predictions for 6/12/26

Canada vs Bosnia & Herzegovina

Kick-Off: 3:00PM ET

We are coming off a monster first day of the World Cup sweeping the board with our bets and correctly predicting the winner of both matches!

Day two kicks off with another one of the co-host countries, Canada, taking the field for their first game against Bosnia & Herzegovina in Toronto. Canada is favored to win the match at -120 odds while the total is set at 2.5 goals.

Canada has never won a World Cup game and have scored a total of two goals in their World Cup history. Despite that, the expectations are sky-high for Jesse Marsch and his squad getting what appears to be a favorable group draw on top of being on home soil.

Canada is dealing with some injuries and will likely be without both Alphonso Davies and Moise Bombito in this game. Because of that, I think Bosnia & Herzegovina are a bit undervalued here. It’s not that I think they will win the game, but I think this will be competitive throughout and I think both teams will be comfortable playing forward and attacking. This should lead to a fun game but I’m not writing off the squad that knocked off Italy to earn a trip here.

Prediction: Canada 1, Bosnia & Herzegovina 1

USA vs Paraguay

Kick-Off: 9:00PM ET

The USA begin their 2026 World Cup quest with a showdown against Paraguay in Los Angeles on Friday night.

Mauricio Pochettino’s squad is coming into this game with both expectations and confidence after a strong showing in the friendlies leading up to the tournament. They’re looking to rebound from a poor performance in the COPA America and I expect them to do just that.

Paraguay will have no issues packing it in and playing on the counter attack, and honestly that’s the type of team that has frustrated the USMNT at times recently with some suspect play in the back. I think this is going to be a tightly contested game and one goal may be enough to earn three points. Christian Pulisic takes the majority of the attention but there is quality up and down this USA roster and they have depth on the bench as well if they need a spark in the second half. Paraguay allowed just 10 goals in 18 WC qualifying matches so bringing on someone like Haji Wright off the bench is something to monitor if the USA haven’t found the back of the net into the second half of the game.

Prediction: USA 1, Paraguay 0
