World Cup Predictions for 6/13/26

Switzerland vs Qatar

Kick-Off: 3:00 PM ET

We had another HUGE day on Friday extending our betting streak to 5-0 and we are undefeated thus far in game outcome predictions as well!

Saturday is going to be electric with three games instead of two and then a fourth game kicking off at midnight eastern. Kicking us off, the Swiss are massive -500 favorites over Qatar with a 2.5 goal total.

Overall, when looking at this first game, I think we could see a similar outcome to what we saw in the USA Paraguay game last night. I think these two teams are in entirely different classes, and the Swiss are much more experienced in World Cup action. Qatar struggled to muster anything offensively in the previous World Cup that they hosted, and as a team they have just one victory over the past calendar year.

Switzerland is very organized and hard to break down in the back, and I just don’t see Qatar being able to do so unless something fluky happens. Granit Xhaka will run the show per usual for the Swiss, but I have my eyes on Johan Manzambi. He may not start, but will be exciting to watch when he gets in the game and could have a breakout tournament.

Prediction: Switzerland 3, Qatar 0

Brazil vs Morocco

Kick-Off: 6:00 PM ET

While we may ease into Saturday with a Swiss domination, things will pick up quickly with an absolute banger on tap between Brazil and Morocco. Brazil are the favored side at -145 while the total is set at 2.5 goals.

I want to buy low on Brazil in this tournament. When I say buy low, I mean that this team has been a large disappointment in big tournament play for some time now, and I think that could change at this World Cup. From a roster perspective, this is far from the strongest Brazilian team we have seen in recent years, but the big key is bringing in Carlo Ancelotti to steer the ship. Ancelotti is the most decorated manager in the history of the sport and he always finds a way to compete. Brazil has struggled in recent years to play as a team, in my opinion, and I think he can help address that while providing them with a winning culture.

Morocco surprised everyone with a Cinderella run to the semi-finals in 2022 and are looking to build off that success here in North America. Their manager, Walid Regragui, left the team a few months ago and it remains to be seen how that will affect things in this tournament. Morocco is dealing with some potential injury situations, but all you need to know is Achraf Hakimi is good to go and will be electric to watch as always.

Prediction: Brazil 2, Morocco 1

Haiti vs Scotland

Kick-Off: 9:00 PM ET

I’m a sicko, and this might be the game I’m most excited for today. Both of these teams haven’t played in the World Cup in 20+ years and are going to be giving it all in this match with an attack-heavy approach. Scotland is favored to win at -200 odds while the total rests at 2.5 goals.

Scotland should have no issues scoring in this game, they’re an experienced team and it sounds like star Scott McTominay will be good to go for this match. Haiti on the other hand are playing with no expectations whatsoever and that can make them dangerous. Despite the talent differential, their speed is something that Scotland could struggle with and if you have ever watched Scotland play soccer you understand that they find ways to disappoint and lose games. I’m not saying that Haiti will win this game, but I do think they can put up more of an effort than most of the public seems to think they can. I think we could be in for a fun, late night shootout.

Prediction: Scotland 3, Haiti 2

Australia vs Turkiye

Kick-Off: 12:00 AM ET

Turkiye makes their long-awaited return to the World Cup tonight against Australia in a match that all USA fans should be following closely. Turkiye is favored to win at -170 odds with a 2.5 goal total.

I like this Turkiye side a lot. We had quite a few winners with them in the last EURO tournament and I’m expecting them to compete well in this World Cup with a dynamic offense spearheaded by Arda Guler. With how dominant the USA looked, we should expect Turkiye to really push for multiple goals if they take an early lead so as to not lose traction in goal differential.

Australia is very organized defensively and tough to break down. Mexico mustered one goal against them in a recent clash and I expect them to embrace their identity and do anything they can to frustrate Turkiye’s offense.

I think the offensive firepower will ultimately be too much to overcome for the Socceroo’s and the result here will really add fuel to the fire for the impending USA vs Turkiye clash.

Prediction: Turkey 2, Australia 0
