We have one last event prior to the PGA Championship next week, as we head to Quail for the Truist Championship. We didn’t get much action on the weekend last week while Cam Young ran away from the field – with another solid field on tap for this one we can hope for a more exciting finish.

Si Woo Kim

I’ve written up and bet on Cam Young and Si Woo Kim the most of any golfers this season – despite missing out on the Young train last week. We are getting Si Woo at a better price point this week, which is why he’s featured here instead of Young or even Rory McIlroy who has won here four times. I don’t fully trust him to beat out some top golfers down the stretch on a Sunday, but a win does feel like it’s coming soon given how well he has been playing. He doesn’t have the massive distance we are looking for, but he is one of the best long iron players in the field and has good course history to couple with it.

Sepp Straka

I’ve had an affinity for betting on Sepp Straka the last 12 to 14 months and I see no reason to stop now. He’s coming off a top-five finish a week ago at Doral and his game looks to be trending in the right direction at the right time as we head into summer. He comps well here because of how good he is hitting his long irons – and there aren’t many more volatile putters on Tour than him. If he gets the putter rolling he can contend on Sunday even in a strong field.

Gary Woodland

Woodland has always been one of my favorite longshots to take a stab at, and he comps extremely well for this course. We know he’s one of the longest hitters in the field – but his approach play has been trending which helped lead him to a win back in March. On top of comping well metrically here, he has a strong history at Quail Hollow with multiple top-fives on his resume.
