Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets

Quarterback

  • Aaron Rodgers (1% FAAB)

  • Tanner McKee (1% FAAB)

These are my top two streaming options this week if you need someone to fill in while your starting quarterback is on a bye.

Running Back

  • Samaje Perine (3% FAAB)

  • Tyrone Tracy (3% FAAB)

  • Bam Knight (1% FAAB)

The running back waiver wire has been a bit of a hellscape over the last few weeks, but Perine, Tracy, and Knight are all viable options if you're desperate for help at the position. Tracy and Knight offer more immediate value.

Wide Receiver

  • Antonio Williams (12% FAAB)

  • Jaylin Noel (5% FAAB)

  • Omar Cooper (5% FAAB)
  • Tre Tucker (5% FAAB)

There are several quality wide receiver pickups available this week, but I've narrowed it down to my three favorites.

Williams should see an increased role following the loss of Terry McLaurin, while I think Jaylin Noel has legitimate league-winning potential.

I know Houston just went out and acquired Marvin Harrison Jr., and he'll likely become more involved as the season progresses, but I'm not sure they can keep Noel off the field.

He reminds me a lot of Parker Washington breaking onto the scene for the Jaguars late last season. Houston once again can't run the football, meaning they're going to have to lean heavily on the passing game in what are essentially must-win games moving forward.

Noel has been incredibly efficient, and C.J. Stroud has been balling. I'm going after Noel in all of my leagues.

I also like Omar Cooper who has been efficient for the Jets in a small sample.

Tight End

  • Terrance Ferguson (10% FAAB)

  • Chig Okonkwo (5% FAAB)

At tight end, it's clear that Ferguson is the best addition across all league formats.

Whether or not the Rams make a move for another wide receiver remains to be seen, but once Ferguson returns, I expect him to immediately step in as the Rams' No. 2 pass-catching option behind Puka Nacua.
