Week 4 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups & FAAB Advice

Quarterback

Geno Smith (1%)
Sam Darnold (1%)

If you have Baker Mayfield or even Drake Maye, I would be looking to prioritize Geno Smith on the waiver wire this week. I’ve been hyping both Geno and this Jets offense all season, and they have a strong upcoming schedule, including games against the Bears, Browns and Dolphins in three of their next four.

Running Back

Ollie Gordon (20%)
Braelon Allen (10%)
Keaton Mitchell (4%)
Kendre Miller (4%)
Jaylen Wright (1%)

Gordon is going to be the priority this week, but I actually prefer scooping up Jaylen Wright for cheap rather than dropping a big chunk of FAAB on Ollie.

I also prefer Mitchell to Alvin Kamara if he’s cheaper, which he should be. Mitchell and Kamara were about even in touches once Etienne went down, making Mitchell an intriguing value if the price stays reasonable.

Wide Receiver

Chris Bell (5%)
Kalif Raymond (3%)

Running back and tight end take most of my attention this week, but Bell should be rostered in all 10- and 12-team leagues. He saw a huge spike in routes without Caleb Douglas last week, and his role could continue to increase regardless as the season moves along.

Raymond continues to be a factor for the Bears, and this offense is simply too good not to at least have him stashed on your bench.

Tight End

Kenyon Sadiq (15%)

Sadiq helped lead us to a huge DFS day on Sunday, and he is a top priority for me in all leagues this week. As noted above, the Jets have a favorable fantasy schedule coming up, and Sadiq has looked great. I’m willing to be aggressive with FAAB if he’s still available.
